Aid & Attendance Benefit

For Senior Wartime Veterans or Surviving Spouses

The Aid and Attendance benefit was created and enacted by Congress in the 50's for those serving during qualified wartime periods. They made a promise to our wartime veterans that if they find themselves in need of care in the future, this benefit would be there for them.

This benefit reimburses our wartime veterans and their surviving spouses for unreimbursed medical expenses for care. Medical expenses for the VA are broadly defined to include Board & Care facilities, Assisted Living Communities, and in home care.
